Having checked my notes I seem to have forgotten an element of homework. Find photos which demonstrate strong line.  I only needed 6-10!  So now I have an album of 64!!!! Just the same when I need to choose fabric. Can't ever make my mind up then either.  Still I'll have plenty of choices. Done contact sheets and have them on iPad. Should be right. Hopefully.

CITY AND GUILDS

I have started my City and Guilds Patchwork and Quilting this month and am looking forward to the challenges ahead. I've got lots of challenges to come which is just what I wanted and why I'm doing it. The first of which is to use line drawing to draw an everyday object. Hey ho, I may or may not put them on here though. I'm not a drawer. That's for sure. But I will try to keep a log of my development along the way.

Post Exhibition Plans

I'm getting on with my Stack and Whack blocks and plans are coming together to put them together.  Here they all are, I have my favourites but am very pleased with the outcome of them all.

Not at all sure where this is going, matches my sewing room best, may just hang it on the wall.

Here are close ups of each one.

Working on some UFO's recently, and this wall hanging has been a joy to complete.  Almost done quilting now, so next picture will be completed.

The Running Landscape

The completed top from the inspiration of my running landscape and the view from my house across Beacon Fell.  Looking forward to getting some quilting done, but absolutely no idea what I will do.  Have 5 days with Philippa Naylor next week Free Machine Quilting so hoping for some inspiration.

This will be Joe's Quilt

Recent workshop with Janice Gunner Log Cabin with Attitude, certainly is.  Very enjoyable and looking forward to the overall look when all blocks are done.
