Quilting Projects

Midnight Garden

The winning quilt in the sampler category at Harrogate Quilt Exhibition 2009. My first quilt and how very proud I was. I am now doing a similar quilt for my Mum and will post the work here as it progresses.

I have started a quilt for my Mum but I have some garters to do so this will have to wait a bit now. I will put up some pictures of the garters very soon.

This bag was made for a friend retiring from work. It uses a pattern designed by Carol Galbraith of Quilters Quarters. I am very pleased with the result and would recommend this pattern.

I have had great fun recently working on designs that I started with Sandra Meech at a workshop recently. Here are some pictures of some work so far. There will be sure to be more to follow.

Autumn Leaves
This was a very interesting technique of wax dye crayons and leaf rubbing, then I tried my hand at free machine quilting, not bad for a beginner even if I say so myself.

An unfinished project done with Barbara Chainey, very quick quilt top, but not so quick quilting!!!

I will get this done this year, I promise.

First 2 blocks of Mums quilt.
